The myriad of vineyards in this region produce some of the finest wines in the country and with more than 140 different wine farms to visit, you will be spoilt for choice. Many of the estates in the area are home to 5-star restaurants, which make full use of their produce, to create mouth-watering food & wine pairings. To visit a Stellenbosch wine farm is to experience a complete gastronomically adventure.
The thriving local art community reinvents itself with the changing of every season. There are numerous galleries that you can peruse, as well as The Rupert gallery which is a mere 10 minute walk from our self-catering apartment.
